Kids TRE Holiday Workshop
A Fun Way for Kids to Let Go of Stress
Service Description
When Kids Can’t Talk It Out… They Can Shake It Out Kids experience stress too — they just don’t always have the words for it. Big feelings can show up as anxiety, overwhelm, frustration, shutdown, or even “acting out.” And while we often try to talk things through, children’s bodies need a way to release and regulate what they’re holding inside. This workshop introduces kids (ages 10–16) to a gentle, body-based approach using TRE (Tension & Trauma Release Exercises) — a natural way the body can discharge stress through safe, guided movement. But don’t worry… this isn’t clinical or heavy. It’s playful, engaging, and age-appropriate, designed to help kids: Feel safer and calmer in their bodies Release built-up stress and tension Improve emotional regulation Build confidence and resilience from the inside out We’ll use a mix of fun movement, simple exercises, and guided rest time to help kids connect with their bodies in a way that feels safe and empowering. ✨ No prior experience needed ✨ No pressure to “get it right” ✨ Just space to explore, move, and reset This is a beautiful introduction to giving kids a lifelong tool they can use whenever life feels a bit too much. Parents are welcome to drop off, wait around the hall area or buy a ticket and join in.
